As you could probably tell, I hit a major roadblock over the summer. After six months I was bored with BFL yet struggled to find the next thing that would inspire me like those first 12 weeks of BFL did. I tried Making the Cut for about a week. It just didn't suit me. I didn't like the workouts at all. I didn't really like only eating 1300 calories per day. I felt like the program didn't allow for any treats or mistakes for 30 days. Sure, it's only 30 days, but any time I put such strict rules on myself, inevitably I will rebel. After quitting Making the Cut, I quit on health and fitness for a little while.
The break was good for my mind, but not as good for my body. Right now my weight is back up to 126, which seems like my maintenance number these days. The important thing is that I never truly gave up. I still forced myself to get on the scale every two weeks. I tried not to overeat. I tried not to be too hard on myself, knowing that I now had the tools to get back in better shape whenever I was ready. Overall, I'm much stronger mentally and physically than I was back in January when I started BFL. I'm ready to re-commit to being more fit. I'm back to blogging because I think the accountability was good for me.
On September 1st, I started a 101 Tasks in 1001 Days project and of course my list has a health and fitness category.
By May 30th, 2011 I hope to have accomplished the following:
-Complete The New Rules of Weightlifting for Women program
-Get body fat under 25%
-Maintain body fat under 25%
-Get weight less than or equal to 120 lbs
-Maintain weight at or below 120 lbs
-Complete a 10K race
-Complete a half marathon
-Complete a 5K race in less than 30 minutes
-Read 7 health or fitness related books (0/7)

-Practice yoga once a week (2/143)
-Get professionally fitted for running shoes
-Climb the adult rock wall at the gym

You can expect to hear more about these goals and I'll probably ramble on about some of my other, non-health related goals, too.
